Macmillan – This year we are pleased to be able to invite some of you back into school to support our fundraising for Macmillan. KS2 parents (Adders and Hedgehogs) are welcome to join us for a cuppa and cake on Friday 24th September, 2.45pm. The children will provide some entertainment too. Entry will be £1.50 for adults, 50p children. Please let us know if you are coming so we can manage numbers and make sure there are enough cakes!
Whilst we are unable to welcome you all in to school we do have some other ways you can join in the fun.
- Click here to be taken to the Teams link, to join us remotely.
- During the day, for 50p children will be able to buy a cake. Please send this in on the day.
- a large cupcake shape will be on the playground in the morning and we hope to fill it with lots of coins. So please have a hunt around for any small change at home and send it in! We will send home a photo of the end result.
Worship Group – Worship group picnic begins again every Thursday with Mrs Rudge. If any child in KS1 wants to join in they really need to bring in a packed lunch from home rather than having a school dinner. Worship Group will be working on a short service for Harvest and setting up the prayer and reflection outside space this half term.
Harvest – We will be attending the church this year for our harvest festival on Tuesday 28th September. Wolves’ parents are welcome to join us for the service. The children will be sharing some songs and readings as part of this celebration. As always, we will be having a collection of dried, packet, tinned food which will be donated to West Villa who support homeless families in Ipswich.
Children will be walking or transported in the minibus to the church. All children will need collecting from the church at the end of the day, 3.15pm. More information will be sent out with arrangements nearer the time.
100 Club – don't forget, you've got to be in it to win it! First draws will be taking place soon and the more entries we receive the higher the prize funds.
Home/School agreement – The deadline for completing the home / school agreement is Monday! Well done to the vast majority of families that have read and completed the agreement online, but we still have a handful outstanding.
