Road Safety - Next week is BRAKE National Road Safety Week.

The theme this year is Road Safety Heroes. Suffolk are focusing on some often overlooked heroes, our highways road workers.  Children are being encouraged to design a poster to celebrate the difficult and dangerous work they do to keep everyone safe on the roads. If you would like to take part, please see the attached poster and send your entries in to school entries by next Friday 19th.

To ensure everyone's safety, please park responsibly in and around our school. We have some community members finding it difficult to get out of their driveway. Thank you.

Children in Need 19th November - message from School Council

On Friday 19th November it is children in need. We are raising money for this charity at school. For a suggested donation of a pound, children can come to school on that day in their pyjamas or a onesie. If they want to, they can also wear a dressing gown and slippers. Thank you for your kind donations.

Christmas Club - thank you to all those who have now signed up for Friday Christmas Club, starting next week, 19th November. Please send payment in a named envelope by Tuesday 15th if not already done so, so we can prepare resources.

Christmas events - keep an eye on the calendar!
Decoration making - Children will be getting creative and decorating the hall on Friday 26th November, ready for our tree service on 29th. If your child is in Wolves class and you would like to work alongside your child during the afternoon to make a decoration, please let us know.

Advent tree service - As is tradition, we will be holding our annual tree service to welcome the season of advent. This will be on Monday 29th November at 9am. Reception and Year 1 parents are invited to attend this service in school if they would like to and we will video the event for others who may choose to watch it later. Please let us know if you are hoping to attend.

Christmas performances - We look forward to sharing our nativity with Wolves parents this year on Tuesday 14th December. We will hold two showings, 9.30am and 2.30pm. More information will follow soon. We are currently discussing an event for KS2. This may be before or after the Christmas period and we will keep you updated.

Christmas dinner - we hope to have our Christmas dinner on 15th December. Information will be sent home soon so you can book your lunch.

Useful reference guide - please find attached a really helpful reference for common childhood illnesses and when to stay off school. We thought you might find this helpful.

Policy updates - Governors have now reviewed the following policies which are available on the website.
