A reminder that Mrs Rudge is running a phonics meeting on Monday at 2.30pm. (as long as she is back to school on Monday)

Other parents in Wolves may also attend as a refresher.  You will be given a pack to help you support your child to learn to read and practise their phonics at home and will have the opportunity to work alongside your child on some activities.  There will be information on what phonics is covered in Reception and in Year 1, and how to pronounce each sound in order to blend to read words.  Please confirm your attendance via email, and wear a mask if you are able to.

Family Assembly

If the cases stay low in school, we are proposing to invite a limited number of parents in for family assembly next Friday.  If you would like to join us, please email the office to book a place.  Numbers will be limited to 12 and it will be first come, first served. We ask that parents do a lateral flow test before coming in and wear a mask if you are able to.

Basketball
On Tuesday, some children from Adders class took part in a basketball tournament at Inspire in Ipswich.
There were 6 schools taking part and Bentley came 4th!
It was a really exciting competition with all the children playing really well, and they got 14 fair play awards. They represented Bentley brilliantly and we are very proud of them!
