Bentley + Copdock Weekly Update

WEEKLY UPDATE 3rd APRIL 2020

Hope you are all managing to stay safe and well and have been keeping active indoors during this difficult time.

Thank you for your continued support and the lovely contributions to the website blogs and discussions. Over Easter, don't forget to upload your Easter bonnet entries under the ‘discussion’ tab on your child’s page. Mrs Austin has also added a blog with a couple of competitions you might like to take part in so have a look http://www.bentleycopdock.co.uk/blogs

You will also find attached some useful information and activities from Mrs North to support your child’s self-esteem and emotional wellbeing whilst at home. Remember the Place2Be website is also a great resource for well-being ideas.

The teachers held a virtual meeting yesterday to discuss how best to further support you all at home. We will be making things as streamlined as possible so everyone can access the information they need. We will be in touch in a week or so to confirm any changes and share updates ready for our return after Easter.

If you want to maintain structure for your children over Easter, there are lots of weblinks on our curriculum support page. Teachers will be having a break next week so there will be no new blogs but you will still be able to add your comments to those already available. Staff will be preparing packs for your return to home learning on 20th April.

Governors are keeping in touch through virtual means too and have sent their latest newsletter to share with you. This can be found on the Governor page of the website or by clicking here.

Have a lovely Easter.
