Wolves week beginning 8.2.21

Date: 5th Feb 2021 @ 11:56am

Welcome to your final week before half term.  A big thank you for all the support you have given your children at home; you are doing a fantastic job.

We are closed Monday due to snow so do some of the timetable if you can and have fun in the snow. I will still do my Teams calls with parents in the afternoon.

Our learning behaviour is to Improve by spotting our mistakes and taking small steps to get better at our learning.  Please let me know on Tapestry or on the discussion when your child does this as it is hard to award learner of the week unless you tell me how well they have improved!

This week, all the children who are home learning have a 10 minute TEAMS meeting with me on Monday or Thursday afternoon, so we can catch up and see how you are and any support you may need.  Please wait in the lobby until I admit you.  I will ty to keep to time. The link will be on the discussion for that day.

Homework for all children this week is to read the Acceptable Use Agreement for Pupils and Parents (on the blog) and sign the form to say you have agreed to it.  This is really important that you and your child follow the rules to keep yourselves safe online.  The link to the form is in the weekly news email, on the weekly timetable and on the discussions each day from Tuesday.

This week we are all learning to tell the time in Maths.

In Literacy, Year 1 and 2 will be writing their own stories, and will need to post photos on the discussion each day.

In Literacy, Reception will be doing some writing connected to Chinese New Year which is celebrated on Friday. The link for the Monday's video is incorrect. Please use this one instead: CBeebies: Preparing For Chinese New Year - Let's Celebrate - YouTube

Have a good week.
