It was lovely to see so many parents in for shared learning again, and a chance to chat to some of you.

Learning Behaviour - Tune in and concentrate

Reception words - different, dry

Year 1 & 2 - County, reside

Monday - please send in empty bottles

Thursday - please send in your child's toothbrush in a named bag as we will be learning how to brush our teeth properly

Maths - we are looking at capacity, so it might be worth putting some measuring jugs in the bath this week!

Writing - we are planning and independently writing a non-fiction piece about an animal of their choice, using what they learnt last half term.  They might want to find out some facts at home.  Then we will be looking at recipes and instrcution wriitng next week.

Geography - We are looking at counties (Suffolk and Essex), Ipswich, Bentley and Colchester, and the human and physical features of Colchester.  You may have some maps at home or on your phone that you can look at with your child.

RE - Easter story

IT and Music - we will be using chrome Music lab this half term which the children can access for free at home too on the internet.
