Good morning Hedgehogs smiley

Please have a look at the learning links and ideas below for today. Remember to be as active as possible and read lots!

Daily Challenge: Can you choreograph a dance to a favourite song and perform it for someone? This could be to a parent, sibling or even pet!

Can you plan and write a story about this robot? Try to   include direct speech and descriptive language.

Try and use expanded noun phrases (adjective + adjective +   noun), similes (like or as something else) and alliteration (red   rust, rocky rubble).

Remember to put inverted commas (“  ”) around the words   spoken.

(Time to take a break and have some fun!)

  • Maths Task:

20 minutes on TTRs – have a go in the Studio to set your Rock Speed today and also try to complete at least one Sound Check. I have now set the tables so the Garage should also be more of a challenge for some of you.

Please complete the measurement problems in your maths homework book.

Year 3 – pg. 27-28

Year 4 – pg. 25-26

Use the links below to help guide you in your learning. Remember, perimeter is the total distance around a shape so all sides need to be added together.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/z4nsgk7/articles/zqf4cwx - metric measurements for length and mass.

(Now make sure you have had a play and something for lunch. What jobs around the house can you help with today?)

  • Afternoon Art Task

Using one of the Joan Miro pictures in your pack, can you create your own piece of artwork inspired by the Spanish artist? You can use paint, colouring pencils, drawing pencils, collage or anything else you have to hand. Post pictures of your artwork in the class discussion when you have finished.

(Now it’s time to be active and get as much fresh air as you can. Maybe you could go for a walk or cycle with your family? Just make sure you stay safe!)

If you need some help, or want to let me know how you have got on today, just make a comment on this blog.  Please also share what you have created or written today too!

Enjoy your day!
