Hello, we hope you enjoyed our class assembly and had a good weekend.
This week we will continue to learn how to write a leaflet to persuade people to visit Antarctica. This will prepare the children for writing their own leaflet persuading people to visit Australia. I'm sure many of us wouldn't need persuading at the moment with our weather! In maths we will be focusing on doubles and halves and using division in probelem solving.
As artists, we will be finishing our collages which look great and learning about John Constable. We will also learn about Christianity as part of our RE.
Our vocabulary words to learn this week are: suggest and culture.
Please remember, homework is due in on Friday.
Homework for next week:
Year 1 and Year 2 -please practise the common exception words you are working on as we will test these next Friday.
Year 1- complete noun sheet and numberline sheet
Year 2 - complete suffix sheet and numberline sheet
PE NEXT WEEK - please come to school in your PE clothes on Monday, Thursday and Friday......we're going to be gymnasts!
