Dear Parents,

Thank you for helping your child by completing the phonic book homework.  We are doing this to ensure we are closing any gaps or missing knowledge which will be crucial for your child’s progress in reading and all other areas of learning.

• Please complete the pages I set each night.  Do not go ahead and do more.
• Please do the pages I set each evening and not leave them until the end of the week etc.  It has been planned like this so it links with learning in class and helps your child to remember.
• Please ensure your child uses a pencil only
• Please ensure your child has a reading book and the phonic homework book in their book bag each day.
