Kittens Friday 4th September

Date: 3rd Sep 2020 @ 6:32pm

Welcome back to all of the children and their grown-ups!

It was so lovely to have you back into school Year 1 Kittens! Your smiles said it all!

We have had a great day back. Settled, keen to share holiday news and happy to see friends again.

We talked about looking out for 'germ hotspots' and how important it is to clean and sanitise our hands. Can you remember our song to help us clean our hands for 20 seconds?

We also talked about ‘growing our brains’. We talked about how when we are challenged the neurons in our brain make connections, grow and become stronger.

I look forward to seeing you again on Monday to grow our brains even more! Don't forget Year 1, you have PE on a Monday afternoon so you are able to come to school in your PE kit for the day. You may wear trainers. Also you might want to remember something warm to wear if it gets cold.

On Monday, I will give out the phonic catch up books and produce a weekly blog with what pages you will need to complete each night. This will be very important to follow so we can help you catch up on any missing knowledge. It will only take 5-10 minutes.

Well done Kittens, I am very proud of you. Have a lovely weekend!
