Hedgehogs Friday 4th September

Date: 4th Sep 2020 @ 4:29pm

Welcome back Hedgehog class, it has been lovely to see the children today. We have really missed you all!

The children have had a lovely first day back, we discussed how to stay safe at school and the importance of hygiene and washing hands. We looked at class promises, discussed what went well when school was closed and any worries the children may have and what to do if we are worried. Then we looked at the story 'The Dot' and how we develop a growth mindset and a positive attitude to learning even when we may find things tricky.

From Monday, children will have a reading book, log book and a CGP homework book in their bag. We will put on next week’s blog for the week, which page they need to do each day at home to practise the skills taught in class. This will enable the children to practise and revise key Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation (SPAG) from last year. They will need to bring these books in each day.

Every Monday and Wednesday we would like the children to come to school in their PE kit which they will remain in all day so they will not need to bring their school uniform with them. This will begin from Monday 7th September.

Have a lovely weekend and we will see you Monday.
