Welcome Hedgehog families,
We hope you had a lovely weekend.
Our learning behaviour of the week is, 'Work Hard' and our value is 'Friendship'.
Vocabulary words this week are: 'photosynthesis' and 'melody'.
Reminders:
PE kits Monday and Wednesday, swimming kits for those who need to bring it in on Monday.
Homework and spellings have now changed to a Friday with Mrs North. I will no longer be testing all 10 spelling words, instead, I will choose 5 of the weekly words and place them into dictated sentences to ensure the children are able to apply the spelling they are learning.
Homework Due in Friday 13th May
- Complete Spring Workout 8 of the CGP weekly maths and arithmetic books.
- TTR twice a week for 10 minutes or try Hit the Button https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button to practise times tables.
- Practise spellings on Spelling Shed at least 3 x 10 minutes a week on the weekly words and Year 3 and 4 statutory words – the next column of words have been stuck in the children's logbooks and I have assigned them on Spelling Shed.
- Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.
