Good morning Hedgehog families,

I hope you had a lovely weekend.

Our learning behaviour of the week is, 'Don't Give Up' and our value is 'Forgiveness'. 

Vocabulary words this week are: 'reflection' and 'habitat'.

Reminders:

PE Kits to be worn on Monday and Fridays and bring swimming kits Monday

Wednesday 30th March Year 4 - Year 4 children will be attending the annual Cross Country Event. As you are aware from your emails, children need to be collected from school and taken to RHS for 1:15pm, all children will need collecting from RHS at around 4:15pm - parents are welcome to stay and support the children. Children will need to wear PE kits and trainers. They are able to have a hot dinner beforehand.  Please ensure they have drinks and snacks, and something warm to put on as they will be waiting in between their race times, when they too can support their fellow runners.    

Parent Consultations - We would like you to attend with your child. The slots are available Tuesday 29th March 3.30-5.30pm or Thursday 31st March 5-7pm.  

Easter Service and parade - A reminder of our annual Easter service at the church this year on Friday 8th April. Children will need dropping off at the church at 8.45am and we will walk back to school after the event. Parents are welcome to join us for the Easter service and fond farewells to Mrs Rudge .

Homework Due in Monday 4th April 

  1. Complete Spring Workout 6 of the CGP weekly maths and arithmetic books.
  2. TTR twice a week for 10 minutes or try Hit the Button https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button to practise times tables.
  3. Practise spellings on Spelling Shed at least 3 x 10 minutes a week on the weekly words and Year 3 and 4 statutory words – the next column of words have been stuck in the children's logbooks and I have assigned them on Spelling Shed. 
  4. If you would like to take part, please start to think about your design and make your Easter Bonnets ready for our Easter Parade on Friday 8th April. 
  5. Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.
