Good morning Hedgehog families,
I hope you had a lovely weekend.
Our learning behaviour of the week is, 'Work Hard' and our value is 'Forgiveness'.
Vocabulary words this week are: 'influence' and 'nutrients'.
Reminders:
PE Kits to be worn on Monday and Fridays and bring swimming kits Monday.
Monday 14th March - Prayer Space - On Monday, we will be holding a prayer space event to reflect on what is happening in Ukraine. This will give the children the opportunity to work together in mixed age groups to reflect on the themes of hope, solidarity, refuge, unity, freedom and peace.
This week is Science Week and the focus is 'Growing', we are will have a special person to deliver an assembly and workshop on Wednesday.
Friday 18th March - Red Nose Day - Dress up in red or whacky clothes for £1 and the children can bring in a joke to share with the class.
World Book Day
Thank you for sponsoring the children to raise money for books in our class. In the coming days, we will let you know how much we have raised. If you still need to bring in your sponsorship money, please bring it in this week.
Homework Due in Monday 21st March
- Complete Spring Workout 4 of the CGP weekly maths and arithmetic books.
- TTR twice a week for 10 minutes or try Hit the Button https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button to practise times tables.
- Practise spellings on Spelling Shed at least 3 x 10 minutes a week on the weekly words and Year 3 and 4 statutory words – the next column of words have been stuck in the children's logbooks and I have assigned them on Spelling Shed.
- Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.
