Hedgehogs - Monday 22nd June 2020

Date: 19th Jun 2020 @ 10:55am

Good Morning Hedgehogs!

I hope you enjoyed learning about ‘Famous and Significant Figures’ last week. Thank you for sharing your learning on the class discussion – please do try to keep in touch this way as it is so lovely to see everything you have been doing. Please make sure you also have a go this week’s PSHE ‘Dealing with Change’ activities as this continues our learning from last week.

Attached to today’s blog is another handwriting resource for those of you who would like to spend a bit of time working on that. More resources can be found on last Friday’s blog.

The timetable and resources for this week are also attached. This week our theme is ‘Around the world’. All of the links for your learning are detailed within and you will just need to click on them to get started. Remember to try your best and do as much as you can. If however, you cannot get everything done in a day - do not worry! Try to keep those key skills of maths, reading and a bit of writing going if you can. Please let me know via our class discussion if you have any problems or would like to share your learning.

Follow the link below this week’s Worship at Home information. https://www.cofeguildford.org.uk/education/christian-distinctiveness/collective-worship/covid-19-resources. There you will find some way of creating a prayer space at home and ideas for Collective Worship that we will use in school, for example how to give your worries to God or how to be a good neighbour.

This week is also National Sports Week. Try to do something active each day from the range of activities listed below the timetable or anything else you can think of. Snap a photo of yourself taking part and upload it on to the weekly discussion! Let’s see how many of us can get involved and how many different activities we can take part in!

I hope you all have a brilliant week and I am really looking forward to finding out what you have been getting up to!

Stay safe, have fun and keep active!

Miss Underwood
