Foxes Monday 4th May

Date: 3rd May 2020 @ 10:20am

Good morning Foxes, I hope you all had a great weekend and managed to enjoy some quality family time.

This week's topic is celebrations linked to the 75th anniversary of VE day, which is due to take place on Friday.

We all have lots of things to celebrate even if it doesn't feel like it at times. We have birthdays, weddings, new badies and of course, we can all celebrate that we are still healthy.

I have put a link to a website for the VE celebrations this year. I have also put on a website to make your own bunting.

I have attached a VE day powerpoint and a reading comprehension just for you to read so you have an idea of why we celebrate VE day.

I have also put on the answers from Friday's learning (the answers are at the end), sorry again about the missing pages for year 5.

I am in school all day today so may not answer any questions until later but I will check in when I get home.

Remember you are all doing a great job in difficult times, please do what you can but it's important to remain balanced and getting stressed is not helpful.

I hope you have an amazing day and look forward to catchinmg up with again soon.

Mrs Windmill
