Foxes 20.9.21

Date: 19th Sep 2021 @ 7:39pm

Good evening Foxes and parents, I hope you have all had a good weekend.

First of all, thank you to those parents who took the time to come and see me on Wednesday evening. I appreciate it was late and some of you had previous times with other classes but it was good to see so many of you there.

If you have any questions or if there is anything you are not sure of please do let me know. It is so important we work together to support our children so they can achieve the best they can.

Spellings should have been practised including column 1 of the year 5/6 words before Tuesday when we will be testing. Homework is also due in on Tuesday so please support your child to have this in on time. There should also be 5 reads signed off in their diaries, I will be checking these on Tuesday too.

PE remains Tuesday and Thursday this week. Please ensure you have appropriate clothing for any sort of weather. Who knows what we might get this week. That includes a coat for break times too.

Friday is the McMillan coffee day so we will be practising our French song this week. We have history in the middle ages, DNA in science, Parliament and local councils in PSHE and Gospel in RE. Lots to be thinking about again.

If you have asked to be considered for the cross country please ask permission at home and whether there are any adults that can support the event. Without support we can not take a team out.

I am looking forward to another good week.
