Foxes 1/4/20

Date: 1st Apr 2020 @ 8:41am

Good Morning Foxes

Hope you are still all well.

Good to speak to some more of you yesterday. There are 6 that I have had no answer from so will hopefully try again today. I still haven't seen lots of you responding to blogs and discussions and many still haven't been on Spelling Shed.

I was going to play an April Fool joke on you today but thought instead you could write about an April Fool prank in a story. It could be one that went wrong, one you've played in the past or just one that you make up. If you do play any pranks please make them funny not mean. I would love to hear about them. I think we all need something to smile about at the moment.

I have been talking to some year 5 parents about reading comprehensions. If you need anything to work on please email me and I will send some over for you.

In the meantime you have 2 days to continue with anything you have in your packs and homework books. There are lots of additional activities on the website which Mrs Austin sent the links to.

For topic work I left you with ideas of drawings/pictures/models or any other research to do with evacuees. I would like to hear what the year 6s thought of Goodnight Mr Tom. I ahve started to read it again as it's a book that I've always enjoyed.

But have a great day, be grateful March is over as it hasn't been a great month and fingers crossed April is better.

Take care of each other

Mrs Windmill
