Bye Bye Butterflies

Yesterday we said goodbye to the butterflies because they were ready to be released. We had watched them grow from tiny caterpillars to lovely beautiful butterflies. Some children were sad to see them go but we had a chat about them needing to fly in the big wide world and then lay their own eggs to ensure the life cycle starts again. It was lovely to see the butterflies slowly emerge from the net and then they quickly flew away!
