Maths

Stick with Maths activities.  Continue working through the booklet where you got to yesterday.  The booklet and guide are on Monday’s blog.

ED/FD/IF/LW/JL - Move on a Grid:  Continue with the following activities from yesterday:

Interactive Activity, Varied Fluency, Reasoning + Problem Solving, Homework Extension + Discussion Problems.  These will need to be downloaded from Monday’s Blog as pdf documents.  You will need to choose whether you complete the Developing OR Expected activities.

Reading

Read the extract ‘Sportopedia’.  Choose one of the sports to write a summary including as much key information as possible.

ED/FD/IF/LW:  Comprehension about Inspirational British Female Athletes.  Download on today’s blog.

Spelling

Unscramble these sporting words: queenmipt, poicmlys, tannidmob, cagminssty & pochmashpini. 

ED/FD/IF/LW:  Rainbow words. Choose 5 Common Exception words and choose different colours to write each letter and create rainbow words.

Today and Wednesday:  Olympic Genius:  Research about the Olympic and Paralympic Games using the resource at the bottom of today’s blog and website about the Paralympics.  See how many different facts you can find out.  This website has some really interesting facts too.  Create your own sporting trivia quiz which you can test out on members of your family.  You could also plot some of the significant dates onto a timeline.
