Adders Monday 15th June 2020

Date: 12th Jun 2020 @ 2:13pm

Good morning, Adders – I hope you enjoyed your weekend and spent some time relaxing.  Please open the timetable on this blog (ED/FD/IF/LW yours has different Maths, Spelling and Reading and JL you will need to look at the Maths on this timetable) and look at Monday’s column.  All the links that you will need will be on the timetable.  Please let me know either via email or the Discussion (there is a new one) if there are any problems.

There will still be a daily blog where I will remind you of the learning for the day, the links you need and any resources you might need to download.  I will try to put this up the night before so those who are sharing a computer can print this off before the morning.

The theme for this week is Significant Famous People. I have focused on looking at how black people have contributed to history, Great Britain and today’s society. There is a competition for you to enter as well as lots of information for you to discover.  There is also another PSHE session on Change which is a really important activity to do this week.

I am really looking forward to seeing the Year 6s in school on Friday and also taking part in our online discussion on Wednesday.  Don’t forget that there is an online assembly with Mrs Austin on Thursday – it was lovely to see some of your faces last week.

Remember:  It is important that you are completing some Maths and English activities every day (if you can) to keep up those key skills.  The topic activities are there to give you something else to focus on and practise other important skills.

Enjoy your day Adders!
