Good morning Adders!  Don't forget our meeting at 8.45am this morning and then again at 3pm.  I'm gutted that we won't be in school today, but it is important to keep yourselves safe.

Therefore, today, I would like you to complete the following:

  • TT Rockstars - 10 minutes
  • Arithmetic - Y5 or Y6 test (document below in files) - Mark them yourselves and I will go through any fraction questions later
  • Fractions learning:  Y5 - Fractions of amounts:  Click HERE to watch the video on White Rose - you will need to select Fractions and scroll down to find the 'Fractions of Amounts' video.  Complete questions in your homework book (document below in files)
  • Fractions learning:  Y6 - Fractions of amounts:  Click HERE to watch the video on White Rose - you will need to select Fractions and scroll down to find the 'Fractions of Amounts' video.  Complete questions in your homework book (document below in files)

  • Writing: Click HERE to read the CBBC Newsround article about Storm Eunice.  I would like you to write a diary entry, report or recount about the storm, including what a red weather warning is, the consequences of this (i.e. the school is shut!) and how you feel about it!  Write this in your homework book please.  You could include pictures if you would like.
  • Topic: Find out about any major storms that have hit the USA and the consequences of these.  I would like you to share your findings during our meeting at 3pm.
  • There will be a quiz at our 3pm meeting.

Have a good day
